Phase noise model for continuous-variable quantum key distribution using a local local oscillator

The value of residual phase noise, after compensation, is one the key limitations performance improvement for continuous-variable quantum distribution using a local oscillator (LLO CV-QKD) system, since it major excess noise. However, due to nonideality realistic devices implemented in practice, example, imperfect lasers, detectors, and unbalanced interferometers, noise current system still relatively large. Here, we develop model improve tolerance LLO CV-QKD schemes. In our model, part phase-reference measurement associated with detection efficiency electronic Bob's detector as well real-time monitored intensity at side considered trusted because can be locally calibrated by Bob. We show that significantly secure rate transmission distance system. further conduct an experiment substantiate superiority model.
